I'm Diako — a data scientist. Most of my work sits in machine learning, predictive modeling, and the messy space where real-world data meets real-world problems. I'm drawn to questions that can only be answered by looking at data carefully.

My research has centered on supervised classification of data streams and how models cope with concept drift — the kind of problem where the world keeps changing while your model is still trying to learn it. I like that kind of problem.

The Apple Developer Academy was where I first started building software beyond the notebook. It's where data science stopped feeling like something that only lives in scripts for me, and where I got genuinely curious about turning ideas into things people can actually use. I still write a lot of software today — it's how I ship what I build, and it keeps the work honest.

Currently finishing my M.Sc. in Data Science and looking for roles where I can keep working on hard problems with good people.
